Frequently asked

Common questions,
answered plainly.

01

What qualifications do chiropractors have?

Chiropractors complete undergraduate degrees plus four years of specialized study, then pass National and Provincial Board Exams. In Ontario, the profession is regulated through the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.

02

Will my insurance cover this?

Most major Ontario extended health plans include chiropractic benefits. We'll verify your coverage before your first visit and provide a clear estimate before any treatment begins.

03

Is chiropractic safe for kids and during pregnancy?

Yes. Chiropractic is very safe during pregnancy and can help manage back pain while ensuring proper pelvic alignment for optimal birth positioning. Pediatric adjustments use minimal force with gentle finger-tip contacts, sometimes allowing infants to sleep through the treatment.

04

How many visits will I need?

On average the acute care phase requires upwards of 12 visits to manage the initial complaint. Chronic conditions or wellness care may require longer treatment plans, tailored to your needs.
